Ahh, here comes Hermione in the form of The Minority again — tell us, friend, what makes Unspoken
a two star for you?
I didn't think Kami Glass was all that cool. I thought Jared Lynburn had PMS. The plot was boring. I didn't like much of anything, actually. Sure, Kami Glass was a "fresh, new heroine" with a feisty, bold attitude and had a hilarious sense of humor — except I found none of this intriguing or anything. The book also reminded me a lot like the anime Shiki
, excluding some things, so lots of things were predictable. I just couldn't immerse myself in the story.
THERE WAS NO CONNECTION.
