Foretold: 14 Tales of Prophecy and Prediction - Diana Peterfreund, Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl, Matt de la Pena, Simone Elkeles, Heather Brewer, Laini Taylor, Michael Grant, Saundra Mitchell, Carrie Ryan, Lisa McMann, Malinda Lo, Richelle Mead Gentlemen Send Phantoms (Laini Taylor) — I really, really, really, fantabulously (omg, that's a word!) loved this. The story was obvious and predictable, but Laini managed to capture me with her words and I loved it. Great originality. 5 stars.

Burned Bright (Diana Peterfreund) — Not sure if I was digging the whole religion element throughout this story, but I really liked the ending. 2.5 stars.

The Angriest Man (Lisa McMann) — Ahh, lovely story, lovely prose. 3 stars.

Out of the Blue (Meg Cabot) — Believe it or not, my first Meg Cabot story. I thought the teenage voice through interviews was pretty sweet compared to much of the serious, compelling stories preceding this one, so that was a great change. The alien element was all right. 2 stars.

One True Love (Malinda Lo) — So, yes, I've heard of Malinda Lo, but I haven't read her Ash story yet. Lo writes well, and the relationship between the two girls was pretty badass, to say in the least, especially in the end. But from the point where "Rapunzel" runs away and then rescues her lover, nothing much goes on, and it's kind of boring. 3 stars.

This is a Mortal Wound (Michael Grant) — I think I might've missed something here. Maybe it has something to do with Grant's Gone series, I don't know. I don't understand much how it dealt with prophecy - okay, I can see it a little - but it didn't much hold my interest. 2 stars.

Misery (Heather Brewer) — Ah, kind of weird, and interesting, but not enough to hold my thoughts. 2.6 stars.

The Mind is a Powerful Thing (Matt de la Pena) — For the life of me, I can't remember this. N/a.

The Chosen One (Saundra Mitchell) — High fantastical, interesting, but predictable. 3 stars.

Improbable Futures (Kami Garcia) — Sort of a grungy world, not my style. But okay. 3 stars.

Death for the Deathless (Margaret Stohl) — Loved the alternating POVs, timeless death scene. 4 stars.

Fate (Simone Elkeles) — So cute! 4 stars.

The Killing Garden (Carrie Ryan) — Wow! I really, really, really liked this one. Maybe would've become an awesome full-blown story. 5 stars.

**Homecoming (Richelle Mead) — So nice to see Rose and Dimitri again. Amazing characters, amazing conflict, loved these foreshadowing things that makes me want to squeal ... 5 stars.

**OF COURSE I WOULD READ RICHELLE MEAD FIRST. ROZA. DIMKA. I'm coming for you, darlings!
